Greetings Fellow Friends

I know it has been awhile since some of you have heard from us so I wanted to send everyone an update.

This past spring we received a matching grant from Friends of Kansas Libraries which we used to purchase a nice wooden book cart for the new Book Buddies program. Stop by the children’s library and take a look at it!

It is time once again for the FALL BOOK SALE! It is scheduled for October 16-19. As always Monday the 16th is Friends Members Only. We will have refreshment available for all members who stop by the sale. Hours are 6-8pm. We are also taking donations of gently read books for the sale, just drop them off at the library before 10am on the 16th.

In the past we have been lax in monitoring our membership renewals, however it has become necessary to update our rolls and ensure that all memberships are up to date. Therefore, if you have not renewed your membership in 2017 please do so by our Bi-Annual meeting in November.

The cost is only $5 for individual or $10 for families.  This is extremely affordable as many libraries charge upwards of $50 for their memberships. And remember, you can now renew your membership online through PayPal. Just visit the friends link on the library website.
